- Migration is stuck at the very beginning with starting migration message and nothing is coming up:
PLESK_INFO: Preparing migration
- Attempt to access the different folders e.g.
%plesk_dir%\admin\bin\on the server invokes the UAC (User Account Control) pop-up window. It is possible to press "Continue" and access the folder:
PLESK_INFO: You don't currently have permission to access this folder. Click Continue to permanently get access to this folder.
- Attempt to reload source server data from command line fails with permission denied error:

The User Account Control: Admin Approval Mode for the built-in Administrator account policy settings are enabled on the server.
As a result, Plesk Migrator privileges elevation attempts are blocked.
This is Plesk bug with ID PMT-3847 which is planned to be fixed in future Plesk updates.
Connect to the server via RDP.
Enter gpedit.msc and press the Enter button.
Navigate the console tree to Local Computer Policy\Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options.
Double-click on the User Account Control: Admin Approval Mode for the built-in Administrator policy, select the Disabled option and click on the OK button:
Back to Command Prompt and apply updated policy by executing the following command:
Computer Policy update has completed successfully.
User Policy update has completed successfully.
