This is a Plesk bug with ID PPPM-7010 , which is planned to be fixed in one of the future Plesk updates.
As a workaround, log in to Plesk and rename the system user of the subscription at Subscriptions > example.com > Web Hosting Access
Switch PHP handler to FastCGI at Subscriptions > example.com > PHP Settings .
