What is Plesk autoinstaller and how to use it?
Plesk autoinstaller is a utility that installs Plesk and its components. Additionally, it is used to install Plesk updates and upgrades.
For Windows, Plesk autoinstaller is located in
folder and can be executed in UI mode by running
. Since Plesk 12.5, it is possible to run Plesk installer via CMD by typing:
C:\> plesk installer
will run Plesk installer in command line mode.
For Linux, Plesk autoinstaller is located in
folder and can be executed by running autoinstaller file while being connected through SSH. Since Plesk 12.0, it is possible to run Plesk installer by the following string:
# plesk installer
For both OSes, Plesk installer can be executed in UI mode by selecting Plesk > Tools & Settings > Updates & Upgrades
Note: Port 8447 should be opened to see Plesk installer web interface.
