- Plesk for Linux
How to assign a second IP address on AWS Plesk for Ubuntu?
- In the AWS EC2 Dashboard, select the Instance > Actions > Networking > Manage IP addresses > Assign new IP . Here you can add a private IP and assign a public one to it (if you have an additional Elastic IP).
The same actions could be done in menu Network Interfaces > Actions > manage IP addresses.
- Connect to the instance via SSH and edit the
/etc/network/interfaces.d/50-cloud-init.cfgfile. Add the following line at the bottom:
auto eth0:1 iface eth0:1 inet static address 203.0.113.2 << Your actual address
- Execute the following command to apply the changes:
systemctl restart networking
- Go to Plesk > Tools & Settings > IP addresses > Reread IP . The newly added IP address should appear there.
