Unable to set forwarder for non-existent users: 1146 Table 'psa.domainservices' doesn't exist

Applicable to:

  • Plesk for Linux

Symptoms

During configuration of Mail for non-existent users , when select Forward to address > OK the following error appears in Plesk:

Unable to set forwarder for non-existent users: SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table 'psa.domainservices' doesn't exist

Cause

Improper table name in MySQL trigger: "domainservices" instead of "DomainServices".

The issue can occur with any table.

Resolution

  1. Create a backup of Plesk database from command prompt
    #plesk db dump psa > filename.sql

  2. List all tables from "psa" database
    #plesk db
    #mysql> show tables;
  3. Check Plesk database for triggers set on the server:
    #mysql> SELECT * FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.TRIGGERS;

  4. Remove entries with improper table name, found in step 2:
    #mysql> drop trigger <trigger_name>;
