The following error is shown at the attempt to access a website:
CONFIG_TEXT: Could not allocate space for object X in database 'examplecom_db' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full. Create disk space by deleting unneeded files, dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup.
The following errors can be found in the Event Viewer:
CONFIG_TEXT: Could not allocate a new page for database 'examplecom_db' because of insufficient disk space in filegroup 'PRIMARY'. Create the necessary space by dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup.
Database size reached its' maximum disk space defined on MS SQL server.
Connect to the server via RDP.
Make a backup of user database as described in this article https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/213370789.
Open Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
Right-click [your database] and select Properties.
In the left navigation window of the dialog box that pops up, select Files.
In the Autogrowth column select the ... button noted in the image below and change them it to Unrestricted Growth under Maximum File Size:
Repeat step 4 for the second file type.
Reset the site (reset the
web.configfile by renaming the file and saving it, then renaming it back.)
Note: If you still continue to get this error, your database is over 4 GB in size. You can shrink your database using the instructions at Shrink a Database, then follow the above resolution again.
