Hello,
I am new in this system, i have created an FTP account, i am using FileZilla to log in but i received this message
"Received unexpected end-of-file from SFTP server". i am using windows OS.
I need help for this problem.
Regards,
Robert
As I understand, you use Plesk for Windows. The error message "Received unexpected end-of-file from SFTP server" means that SFTP connection could not be established. SFTP is SSH FTP which is used only in Linux systems. Please, configure your filezilla to connect via FTP instead of SFTP.
Hello,
It happens to me too when I create a new FTP account attached to the new space/domain. With Filezilla I've got the error message "Received unexpected end-of-file from SFTP server". With WinScp the error message is "Connection has been unexpecdly closed. Server sent command exit status 1.cannot initialize FTP protocol. Is the host running an SFTP server ?
BUT the connection works when using the first account automatically created when the new space/domain is created !
I'm using Plesk Onyx / centOS. And my computer is a pc.
Please could you help me ?
Best regards
Denis

SFTP connection is only possible for subscription system users (the first account created with the subscription). It is expected behavior as it involves SSH subsystem.
