- FTP storage is not configured in Tools & Settings > Backup Manager > FTP Storage Settings > Fill in the fields > OK with the following error:
Error: Unable to access to the storage: Transport error: unable to list directory: Curl error: (56) Failure when receiving data from the peer: Last FTP request: Last FTP response:
Make sure you have entered the correct storage settings. You can check them independently with the command:
curl -v --ftp-pasv --ssl -k -u user 'ftp://192.0.2.2/backup/'
- If the curl command from the error is performed manually with the option --disable-epsv connection works fine:
# curl -v --ftp-pasv --disable-epsv --ssl -k -u user 'ftp://192.0.2.2/backup/'
Enter host password for user 'user':
- 3d party firewall is used.
Firewall misconfiguration. Some firewalls may verify headers of the packets within FTP connection as well. Because 3d party firewall is envolved which is not configured properly, in this process it may block this connection.
Check firewall's logs and configuration in order to resolve issue occurred.
