- Installation of WordPress on a domain example.com fails with the following error:
PLESK_ERROR: The support for PHP is required
- In Plesk > Domains > example.com > Hosting Settings > PHP Support is disabled.

- Log into Plesk as Plesk administrator.
- Enable PHP support in Domains > example.com > Hosting Settings > OK:
Note: The above checkbox is always available when being logged as Plesk administrator. Subscription administrator won't see it if Common PHP settings management and PHP version and handler management permissions are not granted by Plesk administrator in the corresponding service plan under the permissions tab.
Note: WordPress developers recommend using PHP version 7 or greater.
