How to disable Apache CPU monitoring in Health Monitor?

Question

How to disable Apache CPU monitoring in Health Monitor?

Answer

To configure Health Monitor:

  1. Download the current configuration file by clicking the Download Configuration File button in Server Management > Health Monitoring.
  2. Change the configuration file in any text editor. Find the section which refers to Apache monitoring and set its parameter to "false":
        <CpuTime>
    <service name="Web" monitor="false">
    <alarm level="red" threshold="25" type="percent"/>
    <alarm level="yellow" threshold="20" type="percent"/>
    </service>
    ...
    </CpuTime>
  3. Upload the file with changes to Plesk by clicking the Upload Configuration File button in Server Management > Health Monitoring.

Refer to the following article Configuring Alarms, Trends, and Email Notifications for details.

Note: If you are using Web Admin Plesk edition and receive warning from Health Monitor, remove it using Plesk installer since it is a feature of Service Provider view that is not available in this edition.
