- Plesk for Linux
The following error appears while installing Magento manually:
CONFIG_TEXT: PHP Version Check Your PHP version is . The required PHP version is . Download and install PHP from www.php.net using this PHP Documentation. For additional assistance, contact your hosting provider.
Unclear. According to the Magento official documentation http://devdocs.magento.com/guides/v2.1/comp-mgr/trouble/cman/php-version.html, it can be caused by the fact that Plesk has multiple PHP versions installed. In some cases, the readiness check fails; in other cases, it might pass.
Magento can be installed from Plesk directly without such issues.
In order to install Magento from Plesk proceed with the following:
1. Go to Domains > example.com > Install Apps and type Magento in Application searching field, then press Search.
2. When Magento appears in searching result press Install button and follow the further instructions.
If the manual installation of the Magento is still necessary then in order to resolve the issue contact Magento support at https://magento.com/support.
