How to enable DMARC Reject Messages?

    Hello,

I want to make sure I understand...  If an incoming external message fails Plesk's DMARC check, it is silently deleted, and not rejected/bounced.  In this case neither the sender or recipient are aware they missed a message.  Is that correct?  If so, I'm quite surprised, and will  have to disable DMARC checking, which is not desirable.

    Best Regards,
    Bob

    Hi @Bob B,

Yes, the "Silent discard" does not send a bounce message to the sender if destination mail server rejected the email due to DMARC policy

However, the corresponding row will be found in the "/var/log/maillog" file on Plesk server (recipient server) in case of the DMARC fail:

dmarc[16748]: DMARC: REJECT message for jdoe@example.com
