Symptoms

Cannot send mail to port 587 using MS Outlook:

Cause

SMTP on port 587 requires authentication and encryption.

Resolution

Configure mail account: Mail account settings > POP3 and IMAP settings > More Settings > Outgoing Server. Then, enable "My outgoing server requires authentication" and fill in the credentials
