/usr/local/psa/PMM/sessions directory become empty when scheduled backup task finishes on Plesk Onyx 17.5?
Sometimes there are a few files and sometimes the directory is empty.
/usr/local/psa/PMM/sessionsis used by the Plesk Backup Manager for keeping temporary files. The Backup Manager creates a directory like
/usr/local/psa/PMM/sessions/2017-08-21-204915.968before staring the process and deletes it automatically, saving the
migration.result file to
In case an error occurs during the backup process, the resulting file is named
dumpresults_WARNINGS, otherwise, it is named
In order to keep backup session logs in
/usr/local/psa/PMM/sessions directory, consider a workaround that will cause backup task to complete with a warning (the filepath should be updated with actual domain name):
# touch /var/www/vhosts/example.com/httpdocs/file.lock
# chown root:root /var/www/vhosts/example.com/httpdocs/file.lock
# chmod 600 /var/www/vhosts/example.com/httpdocs/file.lock
