Question
How to adjust an IIS application pool in Plesk?
Answer
There are no general recommendations as it directly depends on server configuration. However, it is possible to limit a number of CPU resources that the IIS application pool can use.
-
Go to Domains > example.com > Dedicated IIS Application Pool for Website.
-
Set Maximum CPU usage (%) limit.
-
Select Limit action that IIS performs when a worker process exceeds the configured maximum CPU usage.
-
Set Limit interval (minutes) to specify the reset period for monitoring of CPU usage on an application pool at option.

Hello,
any CPU, memory, recycling time intervals, etc. recommendations settings for shared hosting servers? Thanks,
Regards,
Hello,
We do not have recommendations other than described in server software requirements:
https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/obsidian/hardware-requirements/
The limits should be adjusted based on your personal needs: how many websites, how heavy they are loaded etc.
