API request for SSL-redirect working with "false" value only

Symptoms

Changing SSL-redirect with API request works with the "false" value only. "True" value does not enable Permanent SEO-safe 301 redirect from HTTP to HTTPS option (Home > Subscriptions > example.com > Hosting Settings > Permanent SEO-safe 301 redirect from HTTP to HTTPS).

API request used:

<packet>
    <site>
          <set>
              <filter>
                    <id>1</id>
              </filter>
              <values>
                    <hosting>
                        <vrt_hst>
                              <property>
                                  <name>ssl-redirect</name>
                                  <value>true</value>
                              </property>
                          </vrt_hst>
                    </hosting>
              </values>
          </set>
    </site>
</packet>

Cause

This is Plesk internal issue with ID #PPPM-5735, which is planned to be fixed in future Plesk updates.

Resolution

As a workaround, change required option's value manually in Home > Subscriptions > example.com > Hosting Settings > Permanent SEO-safe 301 redirect from HTTP to HTTPS.
