mchk utility resets "Certificate for securing mail"

Symptoms

Before /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/mchk utility execution mail server was set to use a particular SSL certificate at Tools & Settings > SSL/TLS Certificates > Certificate for securing mail .

After execution of /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/mchk utility mail server starts to use the default SSL certificate from server pool.

The old SSL certificate is displayed in Plesk.

Cause

This issue has been considered as Plesk bug #PPPM-5725 and will be fixed in future product updates.

Resolution

As a workaround:

1. Go to Plesk > Tools & Settings > SSL/TLS Certificates > Certificate for securing mail > [Change]

2. Reapply a certificate for securing the mail server.
