Error while adding TLS support to MailEnable: no authentication methods available

Symptoms

  1. The following error occurs on an attempt to add an email account to Outlook using port 587:
  2. Everything is configured in the outlook according to plesk knowledge base best practices.
  3. The operating system is Windows XP.

Cause

According to Software requirements, https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/onyx/software-requirements/
Only Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows Server 2016 is supported.

Resolution

The best way to resolve the issue will be to use Plesk+MailEnable under Supported operation system.
