- When Plesk Firewall is configured from CLI, all IP addresses are set as source:
# /usr/local/psa/bin/modules/firewall/settings --set-rule -name 'Allow NTP UDP out to example.com -direction\ output -action allow -ports '123/udp' -remote-addresses "203.0.113.2"
- Firewall rule was successfully created, rule id: '84'.
# iptables -L -vn
Chain OUTPUT (policy DROP 0 packets, 0 bytes)
pkts bytes target prot opt in out source destination
0 0 ACCEPT udp -- * * 203.0.113.2 0.0.0.0/0 udp dpt:123
This is bug with ID #PPPM-6845 which is planned to be fixed in future Plesk updates.
Consider configuring firewall rules using iptables utility directly. Check the article for more details.
