How to provide RDP access to Plesk system users for managing files?
Note: If one of the menus is not available in your Plesk installation, please contact server's administrator or hosting provider's support.
Choose one of the following ways:
- Permissions to login via RDP to the server may be granted by Plesk administrator manually: Subscriptions > example.com > FTP Access > john.doe > Access to the server over Remote Desktop > Login Allowed :
- Customers may allow login by themselves when needed permissions are provided from the service plan:
Service Plans > choose the needed > switch to Permissions tab > enable Management of access to the server over Remote Desktop :
Note: The subscription should be locked for synchronization with the service plan. To read more about subscriptions states check the Administrator's Guide .
Warning: All subscriptions with this service plan will be affected.
- Customize the permissions for customer for each subscription individually:
Subscriptions > example.com > in Account section on the right select Customize > Permissions > Management of access to the server over Remote Desktop :
- If it is not possible to access Remote Desktop, contact server's administrator or Hosting Support.
