DNS Manager in Windows adds incorrect IP in a zone transfer that is not defined in Plesk DNS Template

Symptoms

DNS Manager in Windows adds incorrect IP 203.0.113.2 in any domain Zone Transfer that is not defined in domain's DNS Settings in Plesk in Domains > example.com > DNS Settings > Zone Transfers

Plesk database contains the following record for this incorrect IP:

Tools&Settings > DNS Template contains the following name server among others: ns2.example2.com

DNS service is disabled on example2.com domain in Plesk

Cause

This is an internal issue with ID #PPPM-6877, which is planned to be fixed in future product updates.

Resolution

Use any of the following workarounds:

1. Remove the record from Plesk database:

1.1 Login to Plesk database

1.2 Remove the record:

'MYSQL_LIN: delete from dns_recs where val='203.0.113.2';'

2. Change IP for ns2.example2.com to a proper one
