Incorrect ownership/permissions on
Using Plesk interface
Note: If you see other owner or group, it can be fixed only by SSH connection.
Login to Plesk and check if
/httpdpcs/wp-content/uploadsfolder exists in Domains > example.com > File Manager.
wp-contentfolder, open it and check for
uploadsfolder. If it does not exist, create it under
wp-contentfolder, click New > Create Directory.
Make sure that ownership/permissions on
/httpdpcs/wp-content/uploadsfolder and folders inside it are following:
If permissions are different, change them by clicking Change Permissions:
- Go to uploads folder and do the same for folders inside. If the owner is apache/www-data or any other user(not subscription system user), connect to the server via SSH and continue instructions.
Using SSH connection
Connect to the server using SSH.
Correct permissions are as follows:
# chown -R system_user.psacln /var/www/vhosts/example.com/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads'system_user' can be found in Plesk > Domains > example.com
# chmod -R 755 /var/www/vhosts/example.com/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads
