Plesk Multi Server. Unable to add service node: Unable to open source file. Not zip file.

Symptoms

  • The following message occurs when adding service node:

    Unable to open source file. Not zip file.
    
  • In service node's panel.log occurs the following:

  • ~# ping management.example.com command display an IP address which not belongs to network interfaces of the management node.

Cause

Management node resolves to the wrong IP.

Resolution

  1. Determine correct IP address of management node and make changes in /etc/hosts file on the service node.

  2. Remove service node from the list of Nodes.

  3. Add service node anew.

Note: Re-sync does not resolve the issue.
