Plesk upgrade fails with the error:

The following command shows similar output:
C:\> dir > NUL
The system cannot find the file specified.
Corrupted Windows installation, the NUL virtual device is corrupted.
Perform OS restore or try to restore the NUL device manually as described below:
Connect to the server via RDP
Note: If direct RDP access to the server is not possible, contact server administrator for further assistance.
Import the null.reg file to the registry.
If it shows permission errors, change permissions for the corresponding registry branch as follows:
- Open registry snap-in - Start >Run... > enter regedit > OK.
- Right-click to this key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\LEGACY_NULLand select Permissions. Give all permissions to 'Everyone' and try to import this file again.
C:\> sc start null
Continue Plesk upgrade.
