Сheck IPv6 address in /etc/network/interfaces file or using the following command:

# ip a

If required IPv6 address is specified incorrectly, follow instructions here:create a backup of

1. Create a backup of /etc/network/interfaces file:

# cp /etc/network/interfaces{,.bkp} 

2. Specify the correct information:

# vi /etc/network/interfaces

Note that the structure for IPv6 configuration should match the following:

    iface eth0 inet6 static
address 1:1:1:1:1:1
netmask 64
gateway 1:1:1:1:1:1

3. To apply changes to a configuration file, restart the corresponding interface:

    # /etc/init.d/networking stop 
# /etc/init.d/networking start
