Applicable to:
- Plesk for Linux
Symptoms
-
The site shows Apache default page:
The following error appears when opening a website:
CONFIG_TEXT: 403 Forbidden by nginx
-
The output of the following command is empty:
# ls -l /var/www/vhosts/example.com/httpdocs/ | grep index
Cause
There is no index file in the Document Root of the domain, or the expected file has a typo in the name.
Resolution
-
Go to Domains > example.com > File Manager and check if there is an index file of the website.
-
Create index file in the document root directory with required content or specify custom index file under Domains > example.com > example.com > Apache & nginx Settings > Common Apache settings > Index files for the existing one to be recognized:
Alternatively, specify the document root under Domains > example.com > Hosting Settings to point to the directory that contains the index file.

Hello!
Have a look at this article for your issue troubleshooting.
In case the issue will persist, consider contacting Plesk Support.
I read all the content , nothing I find helpful to solve this problem, no practical procedure to do .... So what is the solution? I copied the link of the page to be recognized by my home-connection- net, but noting recovered
I think the problem is within the page itself
here it is :

Hello!
As I can see your website is not hosted on Plesk, please, contact the website hoster to resolve this issue.

Hello
This is not my website, In am just a member there. Lastly I also noticed that it was not hosted. In the first day I considered someone taking my name address as I saw another username logged just I opened the page and sent a question to the admin but no reply I received yet. In the second day, obviously and surely I noticed and knew that the site is not hosted. However, the problem is within the site itself. Thank you for cooperating.
Best wishes
