Plesk Health Monitor shows incorrect CPU usage for MySQL service

Applicable to:

  • Plesk for Windows

Symptoms

Plesk Health Monitor shows high CPU usage for MySQL service (about 99%). At the same time Windows Task Manager displays a normal CPU usage ~20-30% for mysqld.exe process

Cause

Health Monitor has corrupted collected data

Resolution

Reset already collected data for HealthMonitor:

  1. Browse to %plesk_dir%var\health\data\ folder and create a copy of the localhost folder
  2. Remove files inside of localhost folder
  3. Go to Plesk > Health Monitor and click on Detect Hardware Changes button to recreate those files
