Event handler parameters are not passing to the command

Applicable to:

  • Plesk 12.5 for Windows

Symptoms

Values for <OLD_MAXIMUM_DISK_SPACE> and <OLD_CONTACT_NAME> parameters of the "Disk space limit for reseller account reached" event handler are not passing to the command configured at Tools & Settings > Event Manager

As an example, event handler configured with the following:

"C:\Temp\script.bat" <OLD_CONTACT_NAME> <OLD_MAXIMUM_DISK_SPACE>

And the script.bat contains the following strings:

echo "--------------" >> c:\windows\temp\event_handler.log
rem information on the event date and time
date /T   >> c:\windows\temp\event_handler.log
rem information on the created customer account
echo "reseller has reached disk space limit" >> c:\windows\temp\event_handler.log
rem reseller's name
echo "name: %1"       >> c:\windows\temp\event_handler.log
rem disk space limit in Plesk
echo "limit is: %2"      >> c:\windows\temp\event_handler.log
echo "--------------" >> c:\windows\temp\event_handler.log

Log output in c:\windows\temp\event_handler.log will be created with the following strings:

"--------------"
Thu 12/31/2016
"reseller has reached disk space limit"
"name: """
"limit is: """
"--------------"

Cause

This is Plesk internal issue with ID #PPPM-5539 which is planned to be fixed in future Plesk updates.

Resolution

For Plesk 12.5:

  1. Back up %plesk_dir%\admin\plib\DailyMaintainance\Task\AnalyseClientStatistics.php file.
  2. Download attached AnalyseClientStatistics.php file and place it to %plesk_dir%\admin\plib\DailyMaintainance\Task folder.
