How to disable TLS 1.0 protocols in Windows?

Answer

To disable TLS 1.0, perform the following steps:

1. Open Windows Registry Editor and create two registry keys as below:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols\TLS 1.0\Client
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols\TLS 1.0\Server

2. Under each of the above keys create a DWORD with the name Enabled and set the value data as 0 .
3. Reboot the server to apply the changes.
