Subscription creation fails on Plesk Multi Server: Unable to update hosting preferences. The user example.com already exists. Incorrect fields: "login"

Symptoms

  • Multi Server is installed. Plesk Onyx 17.5.3 Update #10 is installed on all nodes.

  • When creating a custom subscription (without service plan) either manually or migrating it from another Plesk server using Migrator, the subscription creation task is fails with the following error:

    Unable to update hosting preferences. The user example.com already exists. Incorrect fields: "login"
    
  • If find API request on subscription creation in debug log and send it to a standalone Plesk server with Onyx 17.5.3 Update #10, it is failed with the same error.

Cause

It is a Plesk bug # PPPM-6547 which was fixed in Plesk Onyx 17.5.3 Update 11 .

Resolution

Install the latest Plesk micro-updates .
