How to create and restore the backup for certain subscription / domain ?
Creating the backup for single subscription and customer is possible via Plesk backup manager. Customers possibility to create backups is defined by permissions specified in service plans in Service Plans > service plan name > Permissions tab:
- Backup and restoration of subscription data using the server storage
- Backup and restoration of subscription data using an FTP storage
- Backup and restoration of account data using the server storage
- Backup and restoration of account data using an FTP storage

If permissions to create backup for the customer/subscription are granted, browse to Subscriptions > example.com > Backup Manager and click on Back Up button to create a backup.
Store In option allows to choose where to backup should be store: local storage or remote FTP storage. Click on Configure link and set up FTP storage if necessary.
Note: Backup for FTP storage will be stored as .zip archive file which contain all necessary data for subscription only.
Similarly is possible to configure the scheduled backup for subscription in Subscriptions > example.com > Backup Manager > Schedule.
To restore the data from a backup for certain subscription browse to Subscriptions > example.com > Backup Manager and click on a required backup from the list. The backups of the subscription created during full server backup will be displayed here as well.
Restoring of the required domain/site is possible when using the selective restore of Plesk Backup manager .
Backup manager is allow to select the Type of object to restore : mail accounts, databases, certificates, sites configuration, files of domains.
For example, by specifying Files option and selecting 'httpdocs' folder, full domain's content will be restored. Also it is possible to restore only specific files by selecting them.
