Cannot navigate through subscription menu: No subscriptions are listed for your account

Symptoms

  • Plesk offers to add a new webspace on every login.

  • Error when opening an example.com subscription:
    Warning: No subscriptions are listed for your account; therefore, no operations are available. Please contact your service provider for assistance with subscribing to the services.
  • Errors in /var/log/plesk/panel.log :
    WARN [panel] No webspaces are listed for your account; therefore, no operations are available. Create at least one webspace.
    DEBUG [panel] Unable to access task/task-progress without subscription
    DEBUG [panel] Unable to access database/index without subscription
    ERR [1] Dependent row(s) 'smb_roles.id = 1' isn't found for 'smb_users.roleId = 1'.
    ERR [panel] Exception: Dependent row(s) 'smb_roles.id = 1' isn't found for 'smb_users.roleId = 1'.

Cause

Database inconsistency in psa.smb_users table.

Resolution

Update values for admin login in psa.smb_users table. For that:

  1. Enter to the psa database:

    # plesk db

  2. Execute the following MySQL query:

    MYSQL_LIN: MariaDB [psa]> UPDATE smb_users SET ownerId=1, locale='en-US' WHERE id=1;
    Query OK, 1 row affected (0.00 sec)
    Rows matched: 1 Changed: 1 Warnings: 0
