Unable to log in to Plesk mobile application as reseller: Access to API is disabled for 203.0.113.2

Applicable to:

  • Plesk for Linux

Symptoms

  1. The following error appears in Plesk mobile application on an attempt to login as a reseller:

Access to API is disabled for 203.0.113.2

  2. Restrict Administrative Access is enabled on the server with Denied from the networks that are not listed option.

Cause

This is Plesk bug with ID #PPPM-6498 , that will be fixed in one of the future Plesk updates.

Workaround

The following workaround are available:

  • Add the mentioned IP to the allowed list in Plesk at Tools & Settings > Restrict Administrative Access > Add Network .
WARNING: This is a less preferable workaround, since if the credentials for the administrator's access are compromised, reseller will be able to access Plesk as administrator.
  • Do not use Plesk Mobile application. Instead of this, use any mobile web browser until the bug is resolved.

Note: The announcements of any changes in the product could be found in the Change Log for Plesk Onyx
