Unable to set fastcgi.logging PHP directive for domain

Symptoms

  1. Setting fastcgi.logging=0 in Domains > example.com > PHP Settings > Additional directives has no effect. The setting is not applied.

  2. PHP version is higher than 5.2.1 is used

Cause

According to the PHP documentation fastcgi.logging could be changed in php.ini or httpd.conf files since PHP 5.2.1. It could not be changed per domain level.

Resolution

Modify the corresponding php.ini or httpd.conf file. For example, uncomment the following string:

;fastcgi.logging = 0

php.ini file for Plesk PHP handlers location:

  • for Windows:

    %plesk_dir%\Additional\PleskPHPXX\php.ini
    
  • for Linux:

    /opt/plesk/php/X.X/etc/php.ini
