This doesn't make sense on Admin license, since there is no "plan" attached to the subscription.
From hoster perspective, it is harder to explain to the end-user customer that he cannot edit its own directives, as available on others platforms.
@Diogo Lopes
Hello, this concerns Additional PHP directives only:
Regular PHP settings are available to customers, of course. So if you are offering Plesk activated with Web Admin license, your client who logged into Plesk under 'admin' account will be able to manage all PHP Settings, including Additional Directives. But if a system user loggs into Plesk (non-admin user), then all PHP settings will be available except Additional Directives.
If it looks differently on your side, send me a screen shot what a user see when openening PHP Settings menu in Plesk.
Yulia, thanks for your reply here.
I agree with you that if the customer loggs with "admin" account, there will be no problem. However we offer Managed Plesk Cloud Servers to our customers - under Web Admin license - and they can't manage they Additional Directives with Webmaster access.
I still unable to see a good reason to do not enable it, or at least to make it optional for Admins users to enable or disable it.
Best.
If you believe that this behavior should be changed, please suggest your idea on Plesk User Voice. The top-ranked suggestions are likely to be included in the next versions of Plesk.
Hi Bulat. Why should I do this? You guys don't implement those suggestions. The top-ranked are there for many years and without development.
By the way, here, as a community open channel, looks to be a great place to request features to you, mainly in a post related topic.
Hi Diogo, thank you for your feedback. However Plesk User Voice is the only place where customers could suggest a feature.
