How to fetch Plesk Action Log using the command line?
Plesk saves user actions in the internal action log stored in the Plesk database.
Configuration parameters of the Plesk Action Log are available on the Tools & Settings > Action Log screen, where it is also possible to download the action log for a selected time period.
However, it is also possible to fetch the action log records directly from the database using the following instruction:
Connect to the server via SSH
Download the script:
For Plesk version < 17.8.11:
For Plesk version >= 17.8.11:
# wget https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/360006831994/action_17_8.tar.gz && mv action_17_8.tar.gz action.tar.gz
Unpack the script and add execution permission for it:
# tar -zvxf action.tar.gz
# chmod +x action_log.sh
Execute the script:
The script creates a new file
action_log.txt with action log stored in it.
