Apache fails if you disable "mod_suexec" module. Why don't you use the directive to avoid it?

Applicable to:

  • Plesk for Linux/Unix

Resolution

Using <IfModule mod_suexec.c> is not secure as on mod_suexec initialization failure during Apache startup  users are not notified of errors and CGI scripts are run on behalf of user "apache".
