Symptoms

  1. The following error appears during the migration:

    Migration tools tried to perform operation in 3 attempts: Command execution failed on the source server 'source' (203.0.113.2) with non-zero exit code. command: MYSQLPWD="$(cat)" mysqldump --no-defaults -h localhost -P 3306 -uadmin --quick --quote-names --add-drop-table --default-character-set=utf8 --set-charset --routines jodablog > /root/pleskmigrator/plesk_migrator-1u4toa0o30zkwb8vsa29kinwh9erofbo/db-dumps/database.sql exit code: 2 stdout: stderr: mysqldump: Got error: 1045: "Access denied for user 'admin'@'localhost' (using password: YES)" when trying to connect
  2. All privileges are valid according to the article .

Cause

This is a bug in Plesk Migrator with ID #PMT-3778 which was fixed in Plesk Migrator 2.9 .

Resolution

Plesk Migrator is updated automatically, no special actions are required.
