Question

Is it possible to redirect Plesk logs to the remote server via syslog?

Answer

Such functionality is yet to be implemented in Plesk. To increase the possibility of its implementing provide the suggestion for the new functionality on User Voice .
The top-ranked suggestions are likely to be included in the next versions of Plesk.

However, it is possible to change the path for the log file manually in corresponding configuration files.
All configuration files with description and paths can be found in the knowledge base article .

For example, to change the error log path for Plesk engine do the following:

  1. Open /etc/sw-engine/sw-engine-fpm.conf
  2. Delete ; before error_log parameter.
  3. Replace /var/log/sw-cp-server/sw-engine.log path with the needed one (mounted NFS Share, for example).

Note: Please keep backups of modified configuration files in order just to replace with them files after the micro-updates.
