"Von: Cron Daemon <root@ws12.de>

System error 2: No such file or directory"

Creating the directory does not permanently fix the issue.

Cause

The /var/lock/files/ directory is temporary and should be created by psa service startup script on system boot.Automatic startup is not configured for psa service on the current system runlevel.

Resolution

  1. check the current runlevel:

    root@server:/etc# runlevel
    N 2
  2. check on what runlevels the service startup is configured:

    root@server:/etc# find . -name 'S??psa'
    ./rc4.d/S20psa
  3. Re-register the service:

    # plesk sbin register_service --disable psa

    root@server:/etc# plesk sbin register_service --enable psa
    Adding system startup for /etc/init.d/psa ...
    /etc/rc0.d/K20psa -> ../init.d/psa
    /etc/rc1.d/K20psa -> ../init.d/psa
    /etc/rc6.d/K20psa -> ../init.d/psa
    /etc/rc2.d/S20psa -> ../init.d/psa
    /etc/rc3.d/S20psa -> ../init.d/psa
    /etc/rc4.d/S20psa -> ../init.d/psa
    /etc/rc5.d/S20psa -> ../init.d/psa
