Premium Antivirus license is not automatically updated in Plesk but manual retrieval works fine

Applicable to:

  • Plesk 12.5 for Linux

Symptoms

Premium Antivirus license is not automatically updated in Tools and Settings > License Management > Additional Licenses , though manual retrieve works: clicking on Get Additional Key updates the license.

Plesk Premium Antivirus license expiration notifications are sent to Plesk admin from the system account with the following content:

Subject: Notification about license expiration.[Avira checked]
Dear Administrator,
Your Dr.Web license key file /opt/drweb/drweb32.key expires in 1 days Dr.Web Daemon stops working after license key expiration.
License key number: 123456789
License key activates: 2016-10-10
License key expires: 2016-11-17

Issue appears when Premium Antivirus license has different update date than the main Plesk license.

Cause

This is an internal issue with ID #PL-4970 , which has been fixed on Key Administrator side. Issue was caused by the different update dates for the main Plesk license and additional Premium Antivirus key.

Resolution

Issue should be fixed automatically on the next update date. Check the update date of your Premium Antivirus license, it should be the same as the main Plesk license:

Tools and Settings > License Management > Additional Licenses

If it is not, contact Plesk technical support .
