Symptoms

Unable to install Let's Encrypt certificate:

Waiting for verification...
Cleaning up challenges
Generating key (2048 bits): /usr/local/psa/var/modules/letsencrypt/etc/keys/*_key-certbot.pem
Creating CSR: /usr/local/psa/var/modules/letsencrypt/etc/csr/*_csr-certbot.pem
Non-standart path(s), might not work with crontab installed by your operating system package manager archive directory exists for example.com

Directories /usr/local/psa/var/modules/letsencrypt/etc/*/example.com are empty

Cause

Previous SSL installation attempt failed

Resolution

Move directories /usr/local/psa/var/modules/letsencrypt/etc/*/example.com* that were created by previous failed installation attempts to some other location:

# mkdir example.com_le_backup

# mv /usr/local/psa/var/modules/letsencrypt/etc/*/example.com* example.com_le_backup
