Full server backup is stuck: the backup was not created

Applicable to:

  • Plesk Onyx for Windows

Symptoms

Backup procedure fails on 86% with the message in GUI :

The backup Dec 6, 2016 11:27 AM was not created.

backup.log file contains the following in the very end:

Event Viewer contains the following error:

Cause

This is an internal issue with ID #PPPM-5364 , which is planned to be fixed in future product updates.

Workaround

  1. Download and unpack the custom fix attached .

  2. Place unpacked pmmarchiver.dll file to C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Parallels\\Plesk\\admin\\bin folder
