Information about package updates is shown on the home page in Plesk Onyx. How to disable it?
There are two options: to completely hide system updates and to hide notifications about certain system packages.
To completely hide system updates:
Login to Plesk server via SSH and rename
# mv /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/panel.ini.sample /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/panel.ini
Add the following lines to the end of
systemUpdatesTool = off
This way, the system updates notification will not be shown on the Plesk home page and will be hidden from Tools and Settings > Update and Upgrade Settings .
To hide notification about certain system package update:
Login to Plesk and in Tools & Settings > Update and Upgrade Settings , select one or more packages, then click Lock . The locked packages are not updated automatically in System Updates during automatic updating and are marked with a lock sign:
If there are other packages that depend on a locked package, Plesk will ask to allow update the locked package.
